Ears Drops Bars for dogs and cats contain as active ingredient diazinon - an organophosphate organophosphate compound with pronounced insecto-acaricidal activity on arthropod larval and sexually mature phases of insects and mites development parasitizing on dogs and cats, including against the causative agent of otodectosis. Included in the composition of drops of auxiliary components: prednisolone, glycerin, etc. have antiseptic, anti-inflammatory and antipruritic effect, reduce edema of tissues.
Indications for use.
Drops of ears Bars are prescribed to dogs and cats for the treatment and prevention of otodectosis (ear scabies).
Contraindications.
Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug components. It is forbidden to apply the drug to animals during perforation of the tympanic membrane.
Doses and the order of application.
Before treatment, the auricle and auditory passage are cleaned of scabs and contaminations with a swab moistened with the drug, and then buried in shallow depths: cats and small dogs - 3 drops of the drug, medium dogs - 4, large - 5 drops. For the purpose of more complete processing of the entire surface of the auricle and auditory canal, the auricle is folded along and slightly massaged by its base. Treatment is carried out twice with a 5-7-day interval until the clinical recovery of the animal.
