Mera Vital Renal - Therapeutic food for cats with kidney disease
Mera Vital Renal is a complete dietary food for adult cats with renal failure. Reduced protein and phosphorus content in the food contributes to a lower load on the kidneys and prevents their accumulation in the animal's body, and the mineral composition controls the acidity of the environment. Easily digestible proteins do not burden the urinary tract. Before feeding, it is recommended to consult a veterinarian.
Indications: chronic renal failure; support of renal function in chronic renal failure; prevention of urate, cystine and xanthine stones; prevention of calcium oxalate stones in combination with renal failure.
Contraindications: kittens; pregnant and lactating cats.
Analytical components: crude protein 24%, crude fat 18%, crude ash 5.5%, crude fiber 3.5%, calcium 0.65%, phosphorus 0.4%, sodium 0.4%, potassium 0.8% omega-6 fatty acids 4%, omega-3 fatty acids 0.65%.
Additives per kg: Vitamin A 22,000 IU, Vitamin D3 1,600 IU, Vitamin E (alpha-tocopherol acetate) 600 mg, Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) 200 mg, Copper (as copper (II) sulphate, pentahydrate) 12.5 mg, Zinc (as zinc sulphate, monohydrate) 100 mg, Zinc (as glycine sulphate, hydrate) 120 mg, Iron (as iron (II) sulphate, monohydrate) 150 mg, Manganese (as manganese (II) sulphate, monohydrate) 25 mg, Iodine (as calcium iodide, anhydrous) 1.8 mg, Selenium (as sodium selenite) 0.35 mg.
Technological additive: antioxidant.
Ingredients: rice, corn, poultry fat, beef and pork protein (dried), wheat, poultry protein (dried and partially hydrolyzed), corn protein, beet pulp (dried), wheat gluten, lignocellulose, egg powder), linseed, brewer's yeast (dried), calcium carbonate, chicken liver (dried), salmon oil, potassium chloride, sodium chloride, sunflower oil. Schidigera (dried), marigold powder (rich in lutein).
The food can be given both dry and moistened. Make sure that the animal has free access to fresh water.
Feeding period: The feeding period is determined by the veterinarian. Initially up to 6 months. In case of chronic renal failure, lifelong feeding may be required.
Energy value: Metabolizable energy (according to FEDIAF 2014) 16.80 MJ/4015 kcal/kg.
